Professional history

In 30 years of B2B publishing, I've covered basic manufacturing, electronics, and computer systems and software. After 25 years in editorial management, I switched to a broadcasting career, coupled with free lance writing, about a decade ago.

 

A bit of personal information

When not working I'm an avid runner (including four Boston Marathons) and bicyclist. I recently obtained a motorcycle license, adding another two-wheeled sport. My wife Robin and I attend all of the Washington National Opera performances and about 25 Nationals' games each season. We have two grown children and (so far) two grandchildren.
